A Stupendous Illusion of Reality

It’s December in Paris and American sculptor Anna Coleman Ladd is completing her last week as Director of the American Red Cross Studio for Portrait Masks. Disfigured during his time fighting in the French army, Eugene Chasse comes in for a cast when the process disrupted by the war still in his mind. The chaotic lives of a solider and an artist intertwine as they each struggle to understand what their lives will be after the shock of The Great War.
